Throughout this time, God has allowed me to serve as a teacher at Ancla, a place that is not just an orphanage but a refuge of hope and love for many children and young people. From the moment I arrived, I understood that teaching is not simply about passing on knowledge, but about being an instrument in God’s hands to sow faith, courage, and purpose in every heart.
Each day at Ancla reminds me that true ministry does not always happen behind a pulpit but in the ordinary moments: in a word of encouragement, in a life lesson, in the patience to listen, and in the humility to guide. The children who live here, although they have faced difficult circumstances, are living proof that God’s love never abandons us and that He has plans for good for each of them
In recent months, God has also given me the opportunity to support some children and teenagers who are studying from home, helping them prepare and achieve a dream that once seemed distant: graduating from elementary and high school. Seeing their faces filled with joy and hope when they realize they have made it confirms to me that every effort, when done for God and out of love for others, has an eternal impact.
I feel honored to be part of what God is doing in this place. As a teacher, I don’t just teach letters or numbers; I try to show them, through my life and my words, that there is a Heavenly Father who loves them deeply, that they are valuable, and that their past does not define their future. Every smile, every achievement, every small step forward reminds me that serving at Ancla is not just a task — it is a calling. As the Word says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” (Colossians 3:23).
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
(Proverbs 22:6)
